VISAS & PASSPORTS

The Government of Canada requires that all people travelling to Canada hold a valid passport. The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is mandatory for visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to Canada, except U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid visa. The eTA is electronically linked to one’s passport and is valid for five years or until the passport expires. Applying for an eTA is a simple and inexpensive online process that takes just a few minutes. Please note that citizens of certain countries require a visa to visit or transit through Canada.
